This is a tough race to cap and I have looked at it forever.
What I keep coming back to is that the last 3 times that the horse has run at Belmont, he has run 1.75 which should win this. He\'s 3 for 5 lifetime with 2 seconds at Belmont and the recrod is less important than the figs that he has earned in those races which are big numbers.
There is some risk of a bounce coming back on short rest but he has paired the 1.75 before and I am going to play him to do that again today.
at the 9-2 ML, I think it\'s worth a shot
Brooklyn/Belmont double of
Eldaafer over Ice Box, Game on Dude, Stately Victor
love eldaafer but imo u should also throw fly down in there
good luck Jim.
I\'m taking a shot with Gabriel\'s Hill first try 12f dirt. Dam won the Irish Oaks, and she\'s got Mr Prospector and Buckpasser on bottom. the fade job going 1 3/8 over the GP turf course is a concern, but Gabriel finished pretty well in the 10f race on dirt. Coa should cruise along 1w and hopefully have something left for the drive.
The 5 might get loose and slow it down. If they go fast The 1 will be saving ground all the way and with the weight break might be able to run them down at good odds. The weight and odds on the 7 makes me have to take a pass. In the Belmont i\'m going to treat the Dwyer as a key race and play Drosselmeyer (lots of trouble last) and Fly Down.
Brooklyn/Belmont
1-5/5-7
Great call Michael D. I used him over 5 horses in the Belmont. Tough game.
I know this is past posting, but I\'m alive for the double. Didn\'t get a chance to post prior to the race. Hit the Brooklyn for the 2nd year in a row.

1/2 a nose beats at 18-1 are never fun jack. some good action though, eh?
good prices there nonetheless.
Thx Michael!
Coming off of last years lay-off as a 6yo, Alcomo put up back-to-back 0s. Wasn\'t sure if the lightly raced shipper could repeat that at 7, but he looked awesome in the paddock and post parade.
So... I had the Brazilian 7yo keyed up with Eldaafer and Tim Ice\'s Gangbuster. B/c of your post, the last thing I did before leaving the window was play a saver exacta 2/3,4,8 box. Bankroll boost coming into a great card tomorrow. Thanks again.
Wow, huge score.
I spoke with Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz; he\'s working on arranging
for you to make the winners circle presentation at next years Brooklyn.
Michael D, who has posted numerous bombs on this board over the last two years,
has never promoted his winning selections ex post facto. Michael D threw out an
18/1 who got nailed in excruciating fashion. You used 5 horses in a field of 8
and things broke your way.
The only thing worse than a bad loser may be a bad winner.
It\'s not a huge score, they were half bets for me actuall. If you don\'t like that I past posted, I guess your just going to have to get over it because it\'s a bit too late for me to take back. Don\'t know what to tell you.
I guess we can\'t celebrate our wins or talk about the race on here unless they are posted? Got it.
I apologize for not carrying a laptop w/ wifi everywhere in my travels.

If everyone posted their wins just to people know that they hit a race, there would be 5 pages every day of scores.
Good for you that you hit it, but his point was probably along the lines of why post it in the first place?? Especially after someone else posted, before the race, of a 18-1 shot that just got nailed.
Good luck with the second half of your double.
I could past post a thousand times too. (Nailed a 49-1 at Pimlico the Monday after the Derby). Do I have a history of past posting on here? No. I got a little excited about the race, I apologize. How about you cut me a break. I made a mistake. I would of preferred the 2 to win as well. I wasn\'t thrilled he got nailed at the wire either. My ex would have been a little better and my doubles would have been much, much better.
