Title: Donna Barton & Dublin
Post by: jbelfior on May 18, 2010, 08:01:34 PM
Donna Barton also mentioned the small amount of space between Dublin\'s post and the outside rail along with his tendency to break to the right.

If the NBC telecast was a stakes race the DRF comment line on Barton would be \"the obvious class in a field lacking quality.\"

Let\' have fun with the Belmont. Maybe another High Echelon year.

Good Luck,
Joe B.

I had Needles\'n Pens in the Belmont that year, so I didn\'t have fun.  He rode the rail until the 8th pole, when the jockey (I don\'t remember who) took him to the outside and he closed best of all.  Shoulda, woulda, coulda.
