Title: Race 1
Post by: Dana666 on May 01, 2010, 07:42:55 AM
25.39 49.44 113.80 137.89 144.28
Track certainly not fast; inside speed horse dropped dead. Winner was clearly best on sheets and did close well.
6- 3w, 4w
3- 3w, 3w
2- 2w, 2w

Watch for bend shoes, 7 was the only horse who wore them in race 2.  Rail looked pretty good in race 2

Race 2
One-turn mile
22.76 45.31 110.30 122.91 136.36
Different entirely; inside speed all the way -  a Borel special. Did they do anything different to the track?
Think I\'m sensing an unpredictable day? I may not play much at all - my initial impression Thursday may be right - pass this year. The 2 horse in this race had a huge t-g number and didn\'t run a freaking step. 3 was bred for the slop on both sides though.Only thing good today are the prices! Good luck if you\'re playing today. Going to the beach, not sitting in front of the PC all day for this torture. peace out.

You may be looking at the wrong thing.  This may seem counterintuitive, but today so far is NOT about track condition.  The track may be playing fairly.

The winner of the 3rd came into the race for a hot barn off a terrific workout and was ridden by Kent D, who normally would have taken McPeek\'s horse in a race like this.

No contest.

Calvin won the 2nd on a blinkers-on horse that had had 3 strong workouts in 12 days...for a top notch trainer, who has gotten some business from a good outfit (Shuvee\'s breeder-owners.)
