Title: The iPad and ThoroGraph...
Post by: JohnTChance on April 09, 2010, 01:52:30 PM
The new iPad is a welcome addition to racing fans who need untethered access to [entire pages of] ThoroGraph data. In the clubhouse, at a tele-theater lunch venue, at the barn, down at the paddock inspecting the entries of the next race... anywhere. Unlike other options, it\'s light, thin, the graphics are great, and the size of the tablet screen feels just right.

Thanks JTC. Do you have the 3g model? How\'s the speed of your internet connection?

I don\'t have one yet. I tried the tablet this week at Apple\'s Fifth Avenue store here in Manhattan where speed wasn\'t a problem. Downloaded last week\'s \"Race of the Week\" as a test to see the \"fit\" on the screen. \"Auto rotate\" didn\'t work. But the point is that it\'s a featherweight. Clearly the future.
