Title: Esky - The Preakness
Post by: joekay on April 05, 2010, 05:21:07 PM
As of now I think Esky wins the Derby easy, in the same manner as Barbaro did.  Where he\'s going to be most vulnerable will be in the Preakness, with 85-50 and D\'Funny keeping him honest early.. If he gets by that... Triple Crown.  Haven\'t analyzed the fillies yet, but will definitely play a It\'s Tea Time/Esky double.

That\'s 3 paceless races in a row for Esky!

What happens at CD when he has to move into a 6f pace of 1:10 and change instead of 1:12??  I\'ll pass on 5/2 to find out.

Good Luck,
Joe B.

I like this one better:

Esky loses the Derby-passes on the Preakness then wins the Belmont by a pole.

Or wins the Derby, running a negative 5, but Pletcher (a sheets user), freshens him up and trains him up to the Breeders Cup, where he comes in 4th, behind Quality Road, Rachel and Zenyatta (in that order)......
