Lots a similarities. 2YO Champ who does win the close ones.

Nobody could wind\'em up better than Woody on Derby Day. Baffy will have this one wound up to run the race of his life on Derby Day.

If he does he has a big shot.

Totally agree on LAL\'s chances.  Esky may be the best horse, but did his 109 Beyer win take too much out of him?  He seemed comfortable and rated, but that is still a very fast number to recover from.  Sidney\'s Candy got a 100 Beyer and will probably be eaten alive going for the lead in a race that should have several front runners.  And maybe Dublin is a sleeper following that lousy ride from Nakatani.

If you guys do not count the Santa Anita Derby effort that would mean he would have a huge amount of rest from that top 1st out this year.  Plus it be going back to dirt where he ran that top.  What makes us think he wont run back to it?  A non(semi)effort poly track race?  Doesnt make to much sense to me.  I think LAL runs a minimum of a top effort Derby day with no problems and Baffert will have him readii to gooooo
