For the record, used 6 horses in pool 3, dutching them so that I\'m getting around 4-1 on average on them as an entry. Noble\'s Promise, Dublin, Jackson Bend, Rule, Schoolyard Dreams, Super Saver. Basically using the futures to set myself up for exotics on the day.
As I have said, I don\'t love LAL\'s chances, if it wasn\'t Baffert I would say he was a major bet-against. Lots of questions about Eskenderaya-- big jump from 2yo top might hurt, can Pletcher get a big number in the Derby.
I predict that 2-3 of the horses I used will be among the 5 favorites on Derby day. Whoever wins the SA Derby will be another. No idea what the Blue Grass will bring or even who is going there.
