ok, I made my first small future wager at the Wynn yesterday.
Got 60-1 on Tempted to Tapit. If JB does his usual bit of offering a KY Derby Futures Pool package and then putting in the sheets for the next few fastest horses, you will see that this guy has the best 2 turn 3 year old number right now and it\'s very fast.
He\'s green and he may be a one dimensional speed ball but he\'s bred to get the distance and he\'s fast so at 60-1, I was willing to live with the risks.
hey cove.. what are the current future odds for quality road in the breeders cup out there?
QR is 10/1 at Wynn, may have changed
i kno the open odds are 10/1 but im sure the current has most likely changed.. just trying to get the updated odds.. they refuse to tell me over phone or email.

But it\'s a loose on the lead mile over a muddy inner with a :26 final 1/4 at 3-5 (100 Beyer though).
The colt TtT lost to at Pha, Schoolyard Dreams, runs in the Tam race on Sat. Unfortunately, Rule scared most of the good runners away from that one. Some nice supporting stakes though.
I\'ve put in requests for a few prices. I\'ll let you know what I do .....

Hey there Mike D, what\'s up?
As you are, I am always skeptical of a loose on the lead number on the Big A inner but I got 60-1, so I am willing to be optimistic here!
He was first blinks last time and I think that made a difference. The race before last, without the blinks, he was in the mix against Laus Dao who came back to run well (I hear he\'s out now though)
At any rate, Tempted to Tapit is set to run next weekend in either the Risen Star or the FOY and if he happens to replicate the Big A race in one of those with another big figure, he will be 20-1 so I took a small shot.
In terms of the Tampa race, I own a VERY small slice of Middle of the Nite with West Point so I am ok that Rule scared away all of the good horses. I am hoping that Pletcher is using this as a springboard and that the rail and the weight are enough to cause enough problems for us to sneak in there but that\'s my heart talking, my wallet most certainly won\'t be expressing that view.
That said, you guys will be surprised to see Middle of the Nite\'s figure from his last, he got a big buried figure. IF he can replicate that and Rule isn\'t cranked with the one point for the weight we would figure (again heart talking here).
Anyway, good luck.
