Title: SA Today

Race 1
This maiden event doesn\'t really grab my attention; that being said, 5-Timbavati seems to have some upside in just his second start.

Race 2
Another maiden race with more than a few question marks evident.  I do like the way 6-Krismas Prospect moves; 3-Aprisa Luna is a big, athletic sort though I wonder how/if she\'ll like grass??? 1a-Madel is also a good looker w/question marks due to the surface switch.

Race 3
Baffert\'s latest monster 3-Conveyance-appears way too much for these guys to handle, there\'s no reason he shouldn\'t stretch out though 2-Domonation is dying to run two turns! 4-Lucky Rave has shown the ability to finish.

Race 4
Pass for now, have to go back and do this race.

Race 5
Both 5-She\'s Funomenal and 6-Switch appear to be lightly raced fillies with promising futures, neither would surprise me . They are both far more athletic than their more experienced rivals. 1-Seriously seemed to improve in last and was a few jumps behind \'Funomenal\'.

Race 6
Interesting claiming event with many ways to go. In no particular order, 3-Canval probably not the soundest guy, but always tries hard, gets fast #\'s b/c he\'s always wide. Can\'t really leave out though I usually try to beat him. Bejarano bailed, too. 2-El Trofeo, not a bad try on grass; adds hood b/c he looks around too much, not necessarily for speed - fits with these. 8-Skellytown is feeling fine these days, hence the return by Diamond A from No. Cal to So.cal. This old dude will be closing strongly I suspect. 6-Major General is very interesting; the former Juddmonte runner lured Bejarano off the fastest horse in the race, had no shot to close in super slow paced last race - a definite maybe here. Don\'t think any others pose serious threats.

Race 7
I have to think 6-Mythical Power is ready to break out with a big race, he seems quite capable and has sown he can run some for Baffert. 2-Viscount, Baffert\'s \"other\" runner in here loves the pro-ride surface but may need a little set up in front of him, not sure how far back he may be, but if he\'s close enough, look out.
5-Mr. Hot Stuff has burned me in the past, God bless him. I\'m not too high on the others, though Papa Clem will take some attention at the windows; honestly I thought he was toast after last spring, and I\'d still be surprised to see him bounce back; I even think his Malibu may have taken a lot out of him whereas Mythical Power didn\'t run a step in the Malibu. If you like him, you will get a favorable pace scenario, I\'m just not personally convinced. I\'ve also had difficulty figuring out 1-Smart Bid, but I do think his Malibu may have fried him, too.

Race 8
Interesting downhill event. In no particular order, 11-Lion Heart\'s Bluff is bred all over for grass and may get a favorable trip if she can stalk 1-Stash, the latter seems to have no real excuse for not finishing in her races. \'Lion\' is a nice looking sort with much upside. 9-Bella Roja was flying late in her local grass debut - she would not surprise me one bit. 13-Ashton Girl always tries hard for Paddy G and Alex - must avoid a wide trip and hope to get a good stalking trip and it could happen. 7-Surfer Girl showed some promise in her US debut back in March and then was put away, but Pupe isn\'t bad with these layoff types. 6-Oui Say Oui, beautiful mover with issues I suppose - if she\'s right, she\'s a threat. 5-Rosey de Megeve, Frech invader for French trainer, no way to say as I could see her replays - maybe best to throw in on larger spreads???

Race 9
13-We Are One stands out to me, and I think she will be way too much for these very sketchy rivals; I suppose looking over the first timers wouldn\'t be a bad strategy, too.

Good luck to all. Gotta go.
