Title: no OP at Med
Post by: joekay on January 12, 2010, 05:30:17 PM
OP now joins GP, SA, and FG as not being available for viewing and wagering at the Med.  Unbelievable!  It looks like the Jersey guys will will have to travel to NYOTB to catch the Derby and Oaks  horses.  One of the benefits of the Med is the presence of race replay monitors where you could catch the Aqu, Crc,GP, and SA replays last year, and now  only Aqu remains. I usually disdain the Inner to play GP and FG, but I\'m getting such good results with figs and replays that it\'s tough to have to give up one choice for another.

Suffern, NY OTB is a decent alternative; 25 mins from the BIG M up route 17. I\'ll be there Friday, so say hello!

No OP in Philly--add that to no GP, no SA, no GG, no LRL and no FG. There are hardly any tracks left to bet on in these parts.

This has turned into a joke/disgrace.

On the plus side, if one wants to travel to AC, the casinos are taking all of these tracks.

Add NYRA to that list, if you are a Phonebet customer....yes, you can wager, but you can\'t watch them on Phonebet TV. I have to go to a local turfclub it watch NYRA racing!!

Obviously the same tracks are missing at the Meadowlands and all NJ betting locations as well, since they\'re all part of the same group.

Right, I\'ve been to Suffern.....might be there Saturday, depending on what track I intend to purchase, but not on Friday....Friday is \"study\" day.
