Title: 1-8- 2010 PHA Race 5 (Jockeys Fighting During Race)
Post by: NoCarolinaTony on January 08, 2010, 12:20:23 PM
If you have not seen this race, the Jockey of the 2 (Eriluis Vaz)struck the Jockey of the 4 with both his fist and whip. He also veered into the 4 who then banged into another horse I could not make out. It\'s been years since ive seen something as dangerous as this occur during the running of a race. Personally not sure what it was about, but I am sure more to come soon!!

I am sure this will become an instant You Tube Classic when it come available.

Nice.

Usually an indication that the stewards are letting alot of stuff go.

I wouldn\'t really know, though, as I\'d rather die horribly before ever betting another deuce at that [place].

(If you like the place, great; just make sure I never get my hands on any uranium.)

I got that round even on my card  , though imo one of them gets a standing 8 count  ...

That\'s why I like Philly - the jocks really try (maybe too much in this case). That\'s the way it should be - like they really care whether they win or lose.

Not necessarily altruistic -- I might \"really care\" if it\'s decided beforehand that I am to finish second, and you got in my way.

That probably never happens at Philly, though.   ;)
