Who didn\'t figure that a rest for Rachel at that point was deserved considering her tough campaign?

All horses need to recover from their stresses.  The problem, or what makes it only easy to see in hindsight or as an armchair trainer, is that horses are individuals.  Some can\'t even make it to the racetrack while others flourish despite going thru training for a 2yo sale and keep right on going at 2 and then 3.

Trainers have to walk a fine line which isn\'t always so easy.
