Here are a few thoughts.
Race Three: Marathon
1-Black Astor and 3-Nite Light will make the pace; either one might be VERY tough if left alone; however, 6-Mastery looks solid in the late stages. 4-Cloudy\'s Knight can run all day and all night; he wouldn\'t be a huge surprise, and 9-Man of Iron looked very solid winning his last, gets Lasix for O\'Brien. Tough call for pick six players - I might have to single Mastery and hope for the ole\' Goldolphin/Dettori magic.
Race Four: Juv. Turf
6-Jungle Tale is Asmussen\'s only BC starter. Seems very live to me! Fresh and rested.
8-Lillie Langtree: Is just too classy to ignore. Lllie has long strides folks.
10-Tapisfly: Everyone I know is touting this filly, so I guess I must throw her somewhere into the mix.
11-Junia Tepzia: I haven\'t seen her race in Italy, but on numbers she may be live? The Americans are not that good in my mind here.
4-Rose Catherine\'s win was visually appealing, but I\'m not sure I see a wire to wire winner in here.
Race Five: Juv fillies
3-Blind Luck: I don\'t know how to detract from her last win - any similar effort makes her very tough.
11-Always a Princess: Post is rough, but there\'s not a ton of speed in here, so maybe she can get a decent spot early.
10-Negligee: Not sure how good that Keeneland race was, I think she\'d need to improve and that\'s hard to do for 2 year olds on BC day - usually what you see is what you get.
Race Six
Little speed in here makes it difficult b/c I don\'t really like 1-Visit or 7-Dynaforce though either one may trip out.
5-Pure Clan: Is in top form now, and she\'s my main runner.
4-Magical Fantasy: The best till she gets beat in my mind.
2-Forever Together: Not sure if she\'s lost a step or not???
6-Midday: Would have to think she\'ll fit here, but doesn\'t seem as stout a closer as the top three.
Race Seven
9-Ventura: Is very hard to look past!
7-Informed Decision: Isn\'t very far behind the champ;, trip and path will tell the story if she can beat Ventura like at Keeneland in the spring.
2-Sara L. Doesn\'t seem as physically developed as her older rivals, so I\'ll use underneath with the other Godolphin runner 8-Seventh Street.
Race Eight
7-Music Note: One of the more classy females I\'ll ever see. Is she better than last year??? I think so.
5-Proviso: Loved her visual appearance at Keeneland, and think she\'ll fire again today.
1-Careless Jewel: Can she wire these on pro-ride??? A tough task indeed. One thing\'s for sure, she is the main speed in here. Hoping Music Note keeps within striking range and 5-Lethal heat keeps some pressure on early.
Good Luck to all.
