Title: May 1st race at CD - Question for TGJB
Post by: jimbo66 on July 06, 2009, 07:20:08 AM
I would has asked this before this weekend\'s races, but had no internet access.

From a layperson\'s view, it is hard to believe that the TG figrues are correct for the May 2nd race at CD that included Munnings,Just Ben and Warrior\'s Reward.

Beyer has the race a ton faster than TG and so do the other guys.  It was one of the reasons that Munnings looked good for the Woody Stephen\'s race on other figures, relative to TG, where This One\'s For Phil looked like a standout.

If the TG figs are right, that means Munnings suddenly jumped up afterwards for two straight races.

And it also means that Warrior\'s Reward lousy 2 turn race where he lost to a sprint bred son of Successful Appeal was a pair up to his seemingly very fast win over Munnings.

This also doesn\'t factor in the fact that others like Just Ben ran through the roof out of nowhere in the Belmont race.

Can you take a second look at that CD race?

THanks in advance.

Jim

Jimbo-- I looked at it once already (after Munnings won Belmont day) and it looked right. See my post below involving Just Ben.

I\'ll look at the race again after more data is in, but there was no reason to think Munnings wouldn\'t run a new top in his previous start, I used him and TOFF (?) in pick 6s that day.

Warrior\'s Reward pairing the number is some evidence the figure is right.
