Title: AN OPEN LETTER TO JESS JACKSON
Post by: richiebee on June 30, 2009, 05:41:48 PM
Sir:

Now is the time to show that your cojones are as massive as your
bankroll.

Rachalk Alexandre is already at the Spa. Forget about the Alabama and another
short field. You want to run in the Travers, Baby! In the Travers RA faces
another field of Birdstone-breds who nobody will even remember in a year or two.
By entering and winning the Travers, you will give NYRA the buzz you deprived
them of by running RA at Baltimore and not at Belmont. By announcing you are
pointing for the Midsummer Derby, you and your filly will be the center of
attention at arguably the world\'s greatest racing venue for an entire month.

Something tells me you would enjoy this.

Lets say RA wins the Travers. NYRA dedicates the last weekend of the meet to
celebrating RA. A giveaway photo of RA and Calvin Borel, complete with Calvin\'s
palm print, draws a record crowd. Women drink free at all Saratoga bars on the
last Saturday of the meet. The tranquilized mooselet returns from Lake
Desolation.

Its September 10th and Big Momma has already won the Ky Oaks, The Preakness,
The Mother Goose and the Travers. People are saying that this is one of the
great 3YO seasons any horse has enjoyed since Secretariat (Triple Crown,
multiple track and world records, stakes wins on dirt and turf). She is the best
thoroughbred of the young 21st Century if she can win the Travers...

If she is still sound there is only one piece of business left. California,
here we come.

Moss/Sadler are taking a lot of heat for their reasons for not wanting to ship
Zenyatta away from California. You sir, are not taking enough heat for your
reason (I wont say excuse) for not wanting to run in the BC. Yes its true that
Curlin (by Smart Strike) and Fabulous Strike (by Smart Strike), both world
class dirt horses, both spun their wheels at Synthetic Anita in last years BC.

What does that have to do with Rachalk?

Pre enter this big white eyed Amazon biatch in the BC Ladies and the BC
Classic; run her in the BC Classic. Go for the ring, Baby! Because if she can
put a BC Classic cherry on top of season which already includes
Oaks/Preakness/Travers, she is a horse for the ages and her 09 campaign will be
remembered along with Secretariat\'s 1973 3YO campaign and Spectacular Bid\'s
1980 4YO season.

This opportunity may never present itself again, sir. As singer songwriter Joni
Mitchell (herself a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, she has probably
slept with half of her fellow members, but I digress) wrote \"I\'ve seen some
hot,hot blazes come down to smoke and ash\".

Carpe diem, sir.

And good job on the donation to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
