I know that Zenaytta has often looked vulnerable on the sheets in the past but I wonder if this weekend might not be the time that the rubber finally meets the road?
She\'s giving up ALOT of weight and she will lose as much if not more ground that usual with the outside post. Finally, it wasn\'t the worst looking thing I have ever seen but she didn\'t exactly dust her workmate in her last breeze last Friday as she barely got to the 2nd workmate at the wire.
I love watching the filly run so I am excited that she\'s in the gate but there could be a nice payday in store on Sat by taking a stand against her.
I am anxious to see the sheets later tonight to see if anyone of the seemingly overmatched rivals has a pattern that would suggest a move forward is possible or if anyone is even remotely close to her weight-adjusted.
Shhhhhhhh.......
lol, I am guessing now that we shouldn\'t be holding our breath for this to be the ROTW...haha
That race is part of at elast two contests, I\'m playing one and Alan is playing the other.
Don\'t know yet what ROTW will be, could end up with that one if nothing else looks good. A big issue in the Vanity is which riders make the weight.
I know that Bejarano can tack 114 but I don\'t know how fast that filly is.
No doubt I\'m a large Zenyatta/Shireffs/Mike Smith fan. The weight and the 1/8th will make this one very interesting. I\'ve always felt she\'s better at the 1/16th than the 1/8th. I\'ve seen some medium sized horses carry an awful lot of weight and some big animals that can\'t pack the big weight. Zenyatta\'s a real big animal, but every horse has \"that\" weight that will stop them. The weight \"might\" get her, but the ground loss hasn\'t got her yet... I\'m hoping she gets it done again.
