Times are tough, but I got a good laugh out of DRF\'s coverage and picture of
the young mooselet who was wandering around the Spa.
Timing is everything and I must say this young critter\'s timing left something
to be desired: she missed Opening Day by nearly six weeks, and was wandering
around the Empire State, without cover, nearly at the same time that America\'s
most famous moose hunter was in the state.
Hopefully, a harbinger of a fun and profitable Saratoga meet, with some good
pari-moosetuel opportunities to be had.
Rumor is that the moose still has state-bred conditions left, and Contessa got her in a 4-way shake.
Rick don\'t give\'em any ideas there.
Next thing you know they will writing two of those a day sandwiching the Jumpers for the Late Pick Three.
Apparently she went to Siro\'s first, looking for a cocktail-no party happening there yet, so she went to the track and toured the area along the inside gates off Nelson Ave. She caused quite a sensation, let me tell you! The excitement is building among us locals and she sure added fuel to the fire!

DRF reported that NYRA was asked to open the gates and let the moose in to get her off the street and out of harm\'s way.
Being a native New Yorker, she instinctively went through the turnstiles six or seven times to try and get extra hats, t-shirts, and commemorative glasses.
Rick B - LOL funny.
I thought they said the Bull was also scavenging the Garbage Cans for the Recyclable Cans and Bottles>>>>>>>>
