Too early for throwing down a Derby futures? Wow.. what an impressive animal.
Hand ridden 4 1/2 to :51 2/5ths. Hope Lukas doesn\'t find a new way to mangle this one.
Where did this happen? I have a friend who starts looking for next years winner right after they run the Derby....
Friday, Churchill\'s 8th race.
I\'ve watched a pile of them this spring, this is the best I\'ve seen so far.
TYVM
I\'ll give you 1000/1. Max bet $2.
Can someone please hold our $2002 in escrow?
Jerry?
How about Bernie Madoff?
There was another one at Churchill today that looked like a monster. Hand ride against some expensive and fast horseflesh...
Don\'t overlook Overthehump, who won at first asking Saturday race 5 msw at Prairie Meadows. His time wasn\'t as impressive as Soundman\'s but how fast should you run when you\'re winning the race by 9 lengths? By Cactus Ridge.
Soundman running Thursday at Churchill\'s 2nd race. 5 furlongs, 50k Allowance for 2yo\'s.
A little too quick back Lukas? But in Lukas defense, this horse barely ran a lick when he romped by 7 1/4 last time out, its hard to blame him for bringing him back so quickly.
I see he got a 7 h? for that effort. He should be seeing a stiffer field here with a bunch of MSW winners. We\'ll see what he\'s got when pushed a little.
Just got done watching the winning race replays of some of the others here, #1 Flatter Than Me and #2 Rib Mountain coming off a 9 and 8 respectively, but both were being push furiously down the stretch. Flatter Than Me did beat Soundman in his opener on April 29th but Soundman looked more green than in his win on May 22.
2-1 ML, but #5 Western Smoke and Flatter Than Me should each receive a fair share of public money (especially from those who haven\'t seen Soundman).
Loading up on this horse tomorrow.

1/1 can\'t do it...
Whether this horse wins or not, there is absolutely no faster way to go broke than betting horses that run big first time out and look impressive doing it. The overall ROI on those is probably 25 cents on the dollar-- what do you know that the public does not?
Terrible idea by DWL to bring him back on 3 weeks rest.
This is why he hasn\'t had a Derby winner since the stoneage.
I didn\'t get a bet in on Soundman (overslept the race), and I certaintly wouldn\'t have made any large wagers on him at 4/5 as I was hoping for 5/2.
That being said, my post last night was more on my emotional side than my brain side. I was shocked Lukas was bringing him back so quickly, my first reaction to seeing his entry was \"Wow, that\'s too quick back\".
The winner looked pretty good.
Being a bit of a Sheet Theorist wished he had not run this one or any of them back this quick but you need to know HIS pedigree to understand why.
FWIT not once but twice he told me he has a bunch good looking 2YO\'s. Exactly when he decides they are supposed to win and which ones they are.
Your guess is as good as mine...........

Cmon Sekrah, make up your mind. This is what you said yesterday...
\"A little too quick back Lukas? But in Lukas defense, this horse barely ran a lick when he romped by 7 1/4 last time out, its hard to blame him for bringing him back so quickly.\"
Before he didn\'t win, you can\'t blame him. He loses, so he\'s nuts. On a horse you wanted to pound at 2/1 or 5/2. Mr. MGM Suites loaded up on Mine That Bird at 6/5.
What the hell is going on around here?? I thought we were trying to find well meant horses at acceptable prices. EVEN money on 1 run closers and 1 fig wonders are now the rage??
Heading to Napa for a little R&R. I\'ll check to see if the hospital has any room for you 2 guys. Sheesh.
