Title: Malibu Joe #?
Post by: toppled on May 13, 2009, 05:58:27 PM
1st race Pimlico Saturday doesn\'t have the 4/8 race figure.  Could you please let us know what it is?  E-mail to purchasers would be ok if you want to keep it from the non-purchasing public.

JB did not make figures for this race, hence the box for Malibu Joe. He will explain after he arrives tomorrow.

There are times when there is not enough information to create figures for a race, usually in a maiden race with a lot of first time or second time starters. In this case there was only one other dirt sprint on the day, a couple of hours later, and since the 5 1/2 races at Laurel often come up funny I wasn\'t going to base the figures strictly on a 6f race 2 hours later (and which was the last race of the day-- first and last races are more likely to have to be broken out than others, for issues of track maintenance).

What I do is go back a month or two later after some horses have run back and see if I can work back into it. Not perfect, but something. Obviously that doesn\'t help you here.

I just took a luck at it. There\'s very little info still, but it\'s at least 6 1/4, could be a couple of points faster. Gets \"h?\" regardless.

At least 12 1/2, again could be a couple of points better.
