Title: "The horse just did not like the track today"
Post by: TreadHead on May 02, 2009, 06:21:33 AM
Over/Under on how many horses have jocks and/or trainers who use this excuse after the race?

I\'ll go with 7.

Sealed track will be very hard, Mullins made mention of this in the press conference.  Not sure what that means to any of these, do we already know Dunkirk does not like it based on Pletchers complaining in Florida?

Tough to say what the track is going to be like by the time Race 11 rolls around. They just reported on HRTV that local meteorologists think that the rain is over for the day.

They were calling for rain all day yesterday and the track ended up going from sloppy to muddy to fast. Sloppy is good for my plays though:).

Currently: Sloppy/Good

Chances are this track won\'t be like Gulfstream was for the Fla Derby...the track there was compacted following some heavy rain days, which baked it when the following days were hot and sunny.  Also, CD has great maintenance and the track will not likely be sealed by the late races if it does not rain any more.
