Just got an email from www.bloodhorse.com saying that Mullins will be holding a press conference at 9AM saying that I.W.R. will be scratched.Can\'t make this stuff up.--Jett
Somebody grabbed the wrong bottle of supplements.
I hope the horse is ok. That\'s the first thing I was thinking Blind.
Andy Beyer has taken the \"Kiss of Death\" to a whole new level
Huh? The horse has inflammation in his ankle.

Now THAT\'S funny!
LOL
Presuming IWR makes the Preakness, I think that bolsters the argument that it will be a better betting race than the Derby...
To JB: I believe it was after IWR\'s first big top on dirt you were soliciting bets on this forum, that IWR would not finish in the top 10 in the Derby, and if he didn\'t start, you win............
A rumor was circulating last night before I went to bed that IWR might scratch. No reason was given.
Now the official word is that Mullins discovered a hot spot in IWRs ankle this morning after he jogged? However, the track vet didn\'t notice anything watching him jog.
Either something desn\'t add up or I should ask the person who told me this last night to give me today\'s pick 6 cold, next weeks powerball numbers and the hiding spot of Osama Bin Laden.
I will go on record as stating that I do not believe the \"official\" story.
Sounds like what happens every day. Horses get a warm ankle, with nothing visible on rads or ultrasound, all the time. They are doing the right thing by scratching the horse. See what the MRI says Monday. I doubt he\'ll be in the Preakness or Belmont. Probably Breeders Cup.
I think the only conspiracy is the racing gods laughing.

What a freakin\' putz you are.
Blindboy: I would say \"huh\"? again but evidently that reply blows your circuits. You make a smartass and incorrect statement. I reply in puzzlement. You reply to me and call me a putz. I don\'t follow your train of thought, such as it is.

I believe in the racing gods as much as anyone but given the piece of garbage that Mullins is it\'s only fair to speculate. His mug should never ever be the face of this sport. He did just say on NBC \"we\'ll live to see another day\". Know what I mean?
I can put my black helicopter away.
Today\'s MRI on IWR revealed potential career ending injury.
He has a G1 win already. Doubt we\'ll see him again.
