Obviously, if Rachael Alexanrda runs her race, she will win.
However, if for whatever reason she doesn\'t, I would offer up Flying Spur as an alternative.
She ran a somewhat competitive figure last time and while a bounce is a concern, she did get alot of time off, comes into the race well rested, gets the best jock and she is training FABULOUSLY.
She made the best impression on me on the backstretch this AM by far of any of the Oaks filles that don\'t have the initials RA.
Many will try to use JWD to beat RA and the sheets certainly back that up as possible but JWD isn\'t training very well.
She got beat by her workmate in her penultimate breeze and she hasn\'t been galloping with alot of energy this week. I don\'t think she will run her best race which she will need to to win.
Flying Spur on the other hand seems to be poised to run a big race which still might not be good enough to beat RA but maybe underneath RA for some value or maybe RA doesn\'t run her race.
Gabby\'s Golden Girl also looked great this morning but the numbers don\'t support her being competitive (unless I am remembering them wrong, please correct me if I am).
I thought NAN looked weak this AM and she\'s not fast enough anyway.
