Title: Race Shape for ROTW

You can\'t be serious that Parade Clown is faster than Hull to the quarter.

Miff

I heard Hull is a scratch.

Thanks Wrong,I heard that also. I am strictly referring to the fact that TG Race Shape has Parade Clown(constantly wide to the quarter because he LACKS speed to get to the fence) faster than the quick early sprinter Hull.

Miff-- the RS often throws things up I don\'t think look right, but on close examination (and in the race itself) it often turns out they are. In this case the time in routes is adjusted for the turn (sprints first quarter is obviously down a straightaway) and there might be something specific to TP, I don\'t know. But I agree, it looks wrong to me too. Unfortunately George is en route to England and won\'t be back for 2 weeks, so I may not be able to get you an answer for a while.

I have found that generally (not always) the relationships between the horses that the RS throws up hold up, pending unpredictable tactics (and I\'m using that word loosely). Occasionally it throws up a crazy projected fractional time, which is almost always a function of the race being run at an unusual distance for that track. We\'re working on that, but with TG UK and several other things going on, don\'t know when we\'ll completely fine-tune the RS.

JB,

Thanks,I would caution one thing with Race Shape.Run up, wind, track speed and weight belong but bringing a wide horse \"to the fence\" gives him speed that he does not have re a pace fig. I believe you know what I\'m saying.
