...after a dismal winter on the Inner Tube. I\'ve already said enough about it.
Fatalities, dirt cheap racing, parades of chalk, a jockey colony which featured
basically a man riding against boys, slots and the renovation of the Big A keep
on slippin, slippin further into the future.
I\'ll stop bashing NYRA. Now I will bash Gulfstream for putting on the worst
Florida Derby card in recent memory. I guess Frank(rupt) Stronach did not have
enough spendable to support stakes purses on the undercard. And it looks like
Nicanor will, like his brother Barbaro, break his maiden at Delaware.
Back to NYRA. All stakes 400K added pick 4. Bay Shore features a field of 10,
but only one, Capt. Candyman Can, is a graded stakes winner. Excelsior features
Barrier Reef, who is 5/6 on the Inner Tube and 0/5 anywhere else; the 2 Chilean
imports will add some intrigue. In the Wood, I Want Revenge will be a short
price to bounce and win. Carter features Fabulous Strike, one of the country\'s
best 6f runners, going 7f.
This is the BEST DAY Of RACING of the year. Bar none.
Santa Anita has an outstanding card also with it own Four Stakes Program.
People should take a look down at Tampa where there is a full card of Stakes for nices horses who are probably not quite Grade One or Two quality anymore but do not have any allowance conditions left, so this is a good spot to land.
Only so much time to get prepared and make all the wagers.

The Fla Derby weekend was very solid. They broke it up a bit, which I think is better than holding all the big races on one day. The Fri, Sat and Sun stakes races, combined with fine supporting races on Sat and Sun, were surely stronger than what Aqu is giving us. A few late injuries hurt the 3 yr old filly race, but the racing was excellent. Frank\'s SA Derby card is also very solid.
The truth is, the industry as a whole has done a fine job in giving racing fans solid race cards during very difficult times. They also get high marks for streaming the races right to our living rooms and offering very simple wagering platforms.

I second this, SC. If you didn\'t mention it, I would have.
Been having tremendous success here -- outright bombs with good patterns and only a point or two off the top horses have been hitting the ITM slots, with some winning outright.
Even if you don\'t get a bomb home, just beat the top two faves (usually Centeno and Rosemary), and the exactas are quite generous.
Don\'t get caught looking the other way at the \"better\" racing -- the money they pay out from Tampa\'s races is just as green as anywhere else.
