It seems that there is a sudden drop in field sizes this week from well over subscribed to 8-9 entries. Any insight welcome.

In all fairness to GP it might just be the conditions.

Thursday has a top end allownace optional claimer for older that probably wouldn\'t fill at any track. They got 8 or 9, that\'s pretty good. Later in the card they have a full race of maidens.

Friday has a 20k claimer and a St Alw race on turf. I wouldn\'t expect those to fill at GP. The Allowance race that day is overfilled.
