In New York we now have a steroid policy (new), snake venom testing(new) and as of today the latest equipment for testing at the Cornell Test lab.Lets see what happens to the usual suspects in the coming months.

And the New York Thoroughbred Horsemens Association paid for it. When the people who breed, own and train racehorses cough up half a million dollars to set up the most sophisticated machine to monitor their own ranks, you know the problem is genuine. The horsemen paid for it out of their purse money, an extraordinary gesture.
Dr. George Maylin has been running the Cornell testing program for 37 years. Each year, he and his staff of 13 test 30,000 standardbred and thoroughbred horses and usually find about 100 positives - .003 percent.
That\'s such a tiny fraction it would appear less than a crippling crisis, but it does not include those who may be beating the system with undetectable \"juice.\"

If you guess that the number of \"undetectables\" is as much as 1000 times greater than the number detected, you still only get 3%.
I think these numbers have to be kept in mind, simply to provide some perspective.
And \"positive\", for the most part, means a legal drug.

On Saturday on the Inner Tube, Fabulous Strike gives weight to a couple of
quality sprinters in the Gravesend(Gr3). If he wins this race, he will have won
the Gravesend and the Fall Highweight (ungraded I think),which used to be
considered important sprints.
IF FS wins Saturday and IF I had an Eclipse Award vote I would have to consider
voting for FS over Midnight Lute. That is all I will say without trying to
ignite a surface debate. It is also a tough call because the two most frequently
run American sprint distances are 6f and 7f, and ML would usually prevail over
FS at 7f IMO.
I am a bit prejudiced because I am in awe of Smart Strike\'s accomplishments as a
stallion, having produced a Horse of The Year (Curlin) a Turf Champion (English
Channel) and a Champion quality (though fragile) sprinter (Fabulous Strike).

I thought I would save my thanks until some results were in. I use the Analysis as I don\'t have time to handicap. I can tell you that I am way ahead thanks to some nice pick 3\'s strung together and a killer exacta yesterday. And for those of you who have not yet profited, we even get TWO A- races today! share with me/us the specific wins, please. I am having my ass kicked this week. In fact, I\'d like to encourage any comments handicapping that conflict with TG analysis, which I\'ve had many. Tent was a definite play for me yesterday, yet analysis went another way with no real analysis, just simple comment. I\'m not complaining mind you, but very interested in what another set of eyes has to offer. I will post a late pik 3 afor both SA & FG today later.
I returned a handsome profit as well using their Picks... R clear victory and south fourth street in the AQ 7th for a $226 exacta. My brother killed them hitting the tri using icabad crane in the third spot.
Please help with letting me know what the BB in front of the race analysis means???

I often use all the picks in a P3 (usually 3X 2 X2) and hit Dec 26 FG R2-4 for $700 NS dEC 27 FG R8-10 for $249. Also the exacta box 3,5,12 at Aqu yesterday. Redboard shows \'em all.
