Congrats to TGJB on Bet Me Best going over the half-million mark. I know he had to grind it out but for people looking to get into the game this horse would have taken them to a whole lot of fun places and also paid the owners way!

Thought I would tie these two together.
The last I saw of Elite Mercedes was when he ran in a grass stake at Saratoga about 18 months ago. He ran huge in his CD prep before that one, off another long layoff. Should be interesting to see how he does in this Sundays Deputy Minister at Gulfstream. This was one the first of many successful Winstar purchases as advised by TG, if I\'m not mistaken.
Another item of interest in this Sunday\'s Deputy Minister at Gulf is up-and-coming trainer Paul McGee who wiil be running two horses in that race. McGee was two for two last weekend at Gulfstream ($9.00 and $78.00). McGee has 18 horses at Gulf, more than ever before and will be running 5 horses this weekend. Brother Marty is an excellent writer for the DRF, brother-in-law Ron Ellis is a good trainer in his own right.
Handicappers take note, with all the attention Shuman & Gill are getting this is a good guy who wins.
Elite Mercedes does not qualify as a successful purchase. If he wins a stake he might be an aesthetic success, but he is a long way from earning enough to be a financial one. The results for Win Star in general have been fair, not as good as the ones for those they purchased the farm from (Prestonwood).
Your honesty and openness are exactly why I choose to do business with only you.
Thanks again.
