Title: Baffert Looks Strong-Midshipman
Post by: Silver Charm on October 25, 2008, 12:56:30 PM
This horse likes to be outside and the outside is where you want to be running so he caught a break.

Got more good schooling in last and now gets money rider Gomez.

Unbridled Song is very strong on synthetic.

Thank GOD for Gomez and Baffert. Crushed this. Flawless tactical ride from Go Go. Even and then some for the weekend...BRILLIANT!

Buck got even just not the then some. Did not want to blow out with a few more to go.

This was a big race from Midshipman and GoGo. He set the fractions was put to a pretty good drive at the quarter pole and held gamely.

PS-Baffert was all class in the interview on ESPN which was good to see. Racing needs that Bob Baffert.

Baffert is hot, Gomez is hot, lots of doubts about Midnite Lute being ready, none of the ESPN analysts like him= 4 reasons to play him

Everyone in the field has either bore in or out in recent races except Lute. Who has not run because 1/4 of his foot nearly fell off in his last.

Any horse that can pair Negative 7\'s better be respected.

Looks like you got in going good now Silver.  Yes, it was very hard to ignore those negative 7\'s and those ridiculous works.

You know me. My go to guy Baffert will always bail me out. One more nice score away from a threeway tonite. But we are all only as good as how our next bet turns out. See we shall see.

Eagle Mountain looks a little dead on the board but de Kock is a wizard. The Soldier of Fortune crew won earlier and should have yesterday. They are bringing horses in different form cycles than Dylan Thomas of last year. Was beaten by Eagle Mt in Epsom and won the Irish Derby by 9!!! over Eagle Mt.

Toys with these.

Brain dead rides. Have the 4 and 11 everywhere in the doubles with no Curlin and boxed in the exacta. Why run a rabbit if you are going to run yourself into the ground anyway.

Conduit did look good in the post parade and it may not have mattered anyway.
