Anybody else get taken down on LOOKALIKE last night at the Big M? I liked the top two all the way and came out with nothing. HP
I was at the meadownlands last night.
A bunch of friends and I own the horse that won the 7th. A number of my co-owners had singled the 6 in the 6th over the 3 (our horse) in the 7th.
That takedown cost my buddies a bundle but the pain was offset by the fact that our horse got to the wire in front.
In the race where the 6 was taken down, I used both the 6 and 7 in the pick 4 and then singled our horse in the 7th but I left the winner of the feature off my ticket after a bunch of debate. Had the last. Leaving the 1 off of my ticket in the fetuare cost me about 7k as I had a $3 pick 4. Not good.
Very tough from the replays to see what the 6 did to merit DQ.
Appeared the 11 came in on the 4.
Apparently the 6 must have crowded the 11 who forced the 4 to take up and lose all chance.
Had top 2 in pik3s. Didn\'t play the 4.
Cost em some $$ on a very underlayed pik (less than a parlay) with the 18-1, 9/2/ 7/2 pays 331.00...hmmm.
Did they ever show more than 1 camera shot? The camera shot that was showed was an angle that you can\'t see anything, i was wondering if anyone saw an angle that proved CONCLUSIVELY that the 6 crashed into rivals?
I was in the jocks room watching the race replay and the jocks were in agreement with the stewards that the 6 put pressure on the 11 causing the foul. I disagreed and we watched the films (many angles) many times. I finally agreed that while the 6 did not intentionally come in on the 11, there was enough pressure to warrant a DQ - BUT - WE ALL thought the stewards would leave the result as is. (I had no bets on the race, BTW).
I thought there was a foul but I was a little surprised by how the whole thing came down. I figured I would end up second. Nice night and a really good card, but it could\'ve been a lot better.
Lezcano certainly got even in the Stake. Congrats... HP
