5. Scandalous, (Gary Stevens, 122 6-1)
6. Waafi, (Chris McCarron, 122 3-1)
7. Major Smoke, (Julie Krone, 122 10-1)
8. Stathy, (Angel Cordero Jr., 126 12-1)
Here is my pre race analysis from my years of betting these guys and gals:
Jerry will take his horse and be 2-3 wide pressing the leaders on the turn no matter what his horses style was going into the race.
Sandy will be underbet and offer value
Patricia will wait to long and pass the winner after the wire
Gary will try to show off by splitting foes in deep stretch when he has the horse to go around and win for fun. He will be forced to check and lose all chance.
Chris will get me to wager on his mount, lose, then Chris will somehow get a mount in the next race and nose me out at a huge price.
Angel will go to fast early from the outside post.
Julie will win the race. Not because of her talent but because then we get to hear that voice one more time in the post race interview.
