Miff,
Still stand by Tale of Ekati as a slow rat? Or willing to consider him a distance challenged pedigreed animal with some quality?
Jim,
In the races/distances he was entered(anything over 9 f) he\'s a rat without a chance and ran accordingly. In races 7f to a mile esp at Belmont, he belongs. I used him backup on Sat because I felt he was better than his figs going in esp short at Belmont.
Did you get even, I hope?
Mike
Miff,
We are in agreement on Tale of Ekati! I don\'t want to redboard, but I got more than even on Saturday. Two horses I have been following, and lost a lot of money on over the past number of months, ran 1-2 in the Jerome. You and I Forever running 2nd to Mambo in Seattle in the race before Macho Again won the Jim Dandy cost me a ton of money in doubles bets. I played You and I forever to Tale of Ekati and Macho AGain. Then, when You and I Forever lost, I decided to key Tale of Ekati, despite JB and every other person at the Carolina barbecue betting Macho AGain and the Macho Again-Pyro exacta. EVERYBODY got out that day, except me.
$96 for the exacta this Saturday made up for it!!
