Title: Figure Postings? TG Question
Post by: Lost Cause on September 08, 2008, 11:10:03 AM
I have seen a lot of threads where someone says ..I have not seen the figures yet for the race..Is this to say there is somewhere that you can see the numbers for the raace before the horse runs it\'s next race?

also..Is there some kind of unlimited service for the TG sheets.  Where you can buy an unlimited monthly or yearly subscription to any track that TG makes numbers for?

We post figures for the TC and BC races a few days after they run them. You can buy individual sheets (that has turned into a nice little business, by the way), but we don\'t sell a whole meet or anything like that. I\'m not looking to create competition going after horses to buy, or help anyone make figures.

\"I\'m not looking to create competition going after horses to buy, or help anyone make figures.\"

For the record you have helped me make my figures better over the years. Not sure you see that as a compliment but it\'s meant to be one.

I don\'t mind helping people how to make them, or even better, to understand why ours are better than any others. (Which raises the question of why anybody would want to, since they generally don\'t have ground or wind, and almost never have accurate figures on shippers, let alone the skills and experience I can modestly claim. And it\'s a lot of work and takes a lot of time. But I digress).

My comment was not about helping them learn figure making theory. It was about showing someone exactly how to handle a specific circuit, and where they need to fix their figures. More importantly, giving out all the figures run every day at a track would flag the fast races and concealed horses I go after.
