It looks like there will be plenty of pace in the race with horses like Barcola, Well Armed and Delosvientos at least trying for the lead/good position and horses like Mast Track and Surf Cat also preferring to race close.
It\'s hard to imagine a slow pace unless a couple of the dirt horses dislike the synthetic enough to not show their usual speed. Otherwise, I think it\'s going to take a very high quality performance to wire. IMO, some of the more rateable speeds should consider backing off.
I have singled Barcola in everything...after all, since Colonel John can run on dirt, then he can\'t run on poly, right?
Student Council is being tabbed to bounce based on his price. Looks like he is training well and probably will rest to the Cup after this one.
