Post by: Silver Charm on August 16, 2008, 06:38:47 PM
These two have had some success over the last 12 mths but.........

I never used to see Mott trained horses get as rank and unruly as Equitable was today, War Monger every time he runs when Jerry Bailey rode or \"forget about it\" when Pat Day rode.

Motts numbers at the Spa are terrible. But when Kent rides for him so are his........

Mott has not done a good job with equitable, as he hasn\'t improved since last year and was unbelievably rank into that first turn today.  Kent took him into the 12 path to get him to relax a little bit.

Kent and Mott have a Saratoga meet to forget, as opposed to last year\'s meet.

Jimbo sometimes getting the right rider on a horse can help in that development.

I am just not sure Kent has the right disposition or consistent focus level for that.

They all just can\'t be ridden \"my way or the highway\" style.

I had some solid plays recently with Kent aboard, and he blew all of them with terrible rides. They are now on my stable alert, all I am hoping for is a kent off, he has been terrible.
