Hello,
Any idea what the ROTW will be ...I want to do my create a card.
Going to be the Sword Dancer. Out in California, decided before I left. There\'s a bet in that race.

Hey TGJB...Please keep in mind during the analysis that Red Rocks is out..
Interesting pick in Grand Couturier.
I spoke to Ribaudo last week and he was disappointed that he could not get Borel to ride due to an Ellis Park commitment. You mean Borel couldn\'t get out of his ride for $150k to ride in the $750k Sword Dancer?
This is where pure sheet/pattern playing may have its faults. GC put in his top last year on a rock hard firm turf closing from well out of it while coming up the rail and while taking full advantage of an unusually fast half mile for the distance (:46 3/5).
GC will not get any of those scenarios today.
Let\'s see what wins out....the sheet pattern or the other handicapping variables.
Good Luck,
Joe B.
thanks for the info...maybe the play then is Borel at Ellis!

I just looked at the race at Ellis...Borel is keeping his commitment to Nafzger. I think the #1 is the play in that race..Saves ground on the rail with a very good new trainer and number power at 10/1 morning line..All in on that one..In the 9th at Ellis, Partners star exploded off the claim last and his number kills these..That\'s two parts of the 50cent pick 4..
The Sword Dancer is 500k. Not 750k.
there sure was, the money came out for one race, and you were 100% right about alan garcia, what a ride. To bad on the scratches it could have been better, nice going

Looks like sheet pattern wins out.
Yep. Good call by the sheet guys.
GC won despite the slow pace and less than firm ground. Garcia was flawless and horse was much the best. The horse is much more compact and athletic than Dancing Forever, who must have missed those sweeping turns at Belmont.
Good Luck,
Joe B.
I could not pull the trigger her. It was a good pick because the horse was really ready to run.
He was 8-1 ML but was 3-1 with about 4 MTP. The two scratches knocked him down but I wasn\'t sure what he was supposed to be in line at a and thought maybe the price was short and about to get shorter.
Nice Pick
