Title: BEL 5TH DQ
Post by: Boscar Obarra on July 04, 2008, 02:18:14 PM
They need the feds to come in and take those stewards out in handcuffs.

Seriously, they really need to keep that gin under lock and key until after the last race.

Had Admiral Bird too, but didn\'t use the 11 with him at all.

No love for #3 Otisisgold (12-1)??  Looks clear cut fastest horse in the race or am I missing something?   Massive overlay about to go off in 4 minutes.

Guess most here as so numb to the bad dq\'s that no comment was needed.

This supposed foul took place well under 2 seconds before the wire?

I had NO skin in the game, but it nauseates me that the stewards are allowed to modify the will of the almighty.

Called incidental contact by the stewards which did not cause a placing loss to the 2nd horse. Seen that call many many times in New York.I needed the 2nd place finisher and while watching the head on replay of the foul, I knew I had little chance of being put up.

I had the horse they took down ..
While there was no doubt the \"winner\" would have won regardless...The second place finisher was cost the second/Third placing.  I think that\'s why they took him down..Ended up being costly as he was my Pick 6 horse...I\'ve seen it happen so many times though that I knew it was coming when tey blinked him...I\'m numb to it at this point..

The inconsistency is very disturbing. In the 10th race at Belmont yesterday the winner bulled his way out, clearly hitting a horse who would have had a better placing, if not blasted by the winner. The left the number UP and many of us watching would have bet the winner was coming down.

Very scary that the Three Blind Mice can take away a huge score.
