\"I wonder if they froze the blood\"

JB,

The conspiracy move up drug theory is getting a little old.Any designer drug(The Magic Bullet) may NEVER be detected, from a good source linked to Cornell testing.Last year in all NY racing, there was  a total of 3 Class One Drug Violations detected at Cornell. They are testing for many things now as opposed to just 3 years ago.

It is thought that the Magic Bullet also has many non performance enhancing components which creates masking beyond any current tests\' ability to detect it.They do not have the money to \"play\" with thousands of random concoctions to try to get lucky and find it.Freezing blood can only be beneficial if the chemist who designs the Magic Bullet comes forward and releases all the components.I asked about freezing blood samples but received no answer.

Guys like Levine and many of the other move up guys are very skilled at using the present very liberal between race legal drug/steroid regimen to build up or help their horses recover(along with tapping joints, throat shots, high \"shake\" levels etc). Some playing it too close or aggressive,e.g.Tricky, Asmussen have been caught when they administer too close and the drug does not clear the horses system by race day.

After many years I am beginning to wonder if the Magic Bullet really exists or if the new generation of trainers have found ways to performance enhance by playing dangerously close to the legal line and even crossing it on occasion.Notwithstanding the results produced by many,I have not seen another Oscar like move up trainer, so I kinda wonder.

I would be interested to know how many of Levine\'s winners at Monmouth this year have come on the turf; or even better... % dirt winners versus turf.

Good Luck,
Joe B.

Joe B.

Levine, who is 29-for-59 overall at MTH, has the following stats on turf this meet:

6 starts
2 wins (both in stks races)
1 second
1 third

** started 2 horses in one of the stakes where he also had the race winner, so make it 2 winners from 5 races...

Miff-- \"...beyond any current test\'s ability to detect it\".

Exactly.

Manning:

Nice!  Thank you.

If Levine wins the UN on Saturday with Buddy\'s Humor, we can then call him with certainty New Jersey racing\'s answer to Oscar Barrera.

Good Luck,
Joe B.
