Title: more odd occurrences on thorograph
Post by: high roller on June 22, 2008, 10:12:10 AM
take a look at 2 stakes races at colonial on saturday, in race 8 a horse named royal pleasure gets a 5 1/2 SIX TIMES IN A ROW! in race 9 nistle\'s crunch get s a 7 FIVE TIMES IN A ROW!

(COULD YOU IMAGINE THE MATHEMATICAL ODDS OF THIS HAPPENING, A HORSE RUNNING THE SAME EXACT NUMBER AT DIFFERENT TRACKS, OR SURFACES OR EVEN DISTANCES?) yet this happens all the time on thorograph.

whatever happened to the graph aspect of the sheets, horses circling in and out of form. of course jerry will say turf horses run tighter patterns. yet i even see this pattern on the dirt on thorograph.

my opinion is that jerry needs to pay more attention to his work and less on gossip, bombast & marketing. this work is not worthy of $25 a track.

has anyone noticed some of the absurd numbers that jerry has coming out of delaware park? at some of these bush league tracks horses are getting negative numbers that place them with the greatest horses in history!

ABSURD!

Stop buying the product, if it bothers you that much. Or better yet, make your own numbers.

These absurd numbers, as you put it, haven\'t stopped many of us around here from winning.

You\'ve made your point. If it bothers you that much just leave and go back to the other side of town.

I am a loyal thorograph customer and I have to admit I have wondered the same things that high roller just pointed out...I can understand why many here don\'t like the way he went about the post..but Jerry..it would be interesting to hear your response.  I know some Rag guys often question me about how a horse can earn the same number over and over again when they see me using your numbers.

My answer was on another string started by High Roller, and if you do a search you can probably find 20 other posts on the subject on this site.
