Title: Is he better than Chuckles?
Post by: drbillym on May 01, 2008, 07:23:05 AM
I know Chuckles has claimed to have a good record at picking the winner of the Kentucky Derby.  But I understand that there is a woman from the Louisville Ledger who has picked the last 11 winners IN A ROW!  That would include Giacomo and Lil E. Tee at generous prices.  She will be on NPR radio between 7-8 am this Saturday morning-and I\'ll be sure to listen!  Does anyone know who this girl is and if this is true?

Lil E Tee had to have been longer ago than 11 years.  Do not know off the top of my head, but that is my thought.

So many things can go wrong that 11 in a row would be more than outstanding.

She\'d have to have some proof of it though. You can\'t just say it.

The hosts here have been all over the best horses the last few years. Tgraph sold me on the little string I had.

Even in Giacomo\'s year they pretty much tossed the top four figure horses on negative bounce theory. I\'m not sure they came up stone cold sober on Giacomo, but they tossed the top four.

This is a tough one this year, because I believe the speed parked wide is going to guarantee a hotter pace than it would have otherwise been. They have to clear the field and they may have to clear a field where the inside horses push a bit to hold position.
