Title: Non-BC Races Today; "Early-Jump"
Post by: pj on October 27, 2007, 05:05:12 AM
In attempting to get an \"early-jump\" on the day, looking at the second race at Monmouth; it seems that #8, Marina Ballerina is a big overlay at 15-1.

She has to contend with Sindy With an S sporting a big new top, which she should bounce from, and Sheets (ironic name), who seems to like the off-going.

In any case, the track being what it is may turn this inyo an \"early-DUMP\", rather than an \"early-jump\".

Best of luck to all of us today,

pj

Pletcher BLEW IT.

He should have crossed entered in the Distaff, checked the weather report and run in there. The Davona Dale conditions where she won by 14 probably resemble today at Monmouth.

It would seem that he did opt out of a possible leveraged chance with this filly.
Must have made sense some way we don\'t know about. She is fabulous wet.
