Title: The Green Donkey..
Post by: Lost Cause on October 15, 2007, 09:21:10 AM
I think this would be a better name for this animal...Green and empty in the stretch...I hope he keeps running, I\'m making a killing betting against him...

Your screen names speaks for it self. That horse has no clue how much they paid for him. Why don\'t you give the rest of the fields that include the GM a nick name? Because you have to beat them also.

Whats in a name ? Saw the race at Saratoga and the horse ran wide , finished back and looked just like the others who IMO appeared to be learning how to race . On the other hand , just for conversation sake and I\'m guessing - some of them might have been \'ouchy and didn\'t run through it all the way to their top ability . Recently I\'m hearing a lot of talk about breeding , confirmation etc  , but for what I know , it\'s only fair to assume at least that they  paid good money for Green Monkey  ...

Since you\'re so good at figuring out races, I\'m sure this won\'t be too hard for you to figure out either...

Hey I\'m back again....it\'s posts like this (yours) that just make you want to come back for more.

We all can agree the Green Monkey will not be making an appearance on Breeders Cup Day.

Speaking of the Breeders Cup, will TG be offering the early sheets version as in past years on Wednesday when DRF pulishes their BC package?

Title: Pre-entries etc.
Post by: TGJB on October 16, 2007, 03:39:18 PM
Yes, we will be selling pre-entries, hopefully on line tomorrow night, at sales locations soon thereafter. A lot depends on when Equibase gets us the entry file. With the three additional races this year, the price will be $35.

The seminar will cover all 11 BC races, and also will cost $35. We will also be selling packages of the non-BC races for both Friday and Saturday, as well as the full Mth cards for each day seperately for the usual price.

Everybody got that?

Will the pre-entries contain figures for the Euro entrants?

No Jerry please explain. I\'m going to Monmouth Friday and Saturday. Will Friday and Saturday\'s full card sheets for Monmouth include your breeder\'s cup analysis? Or do I have to buy the full card sheets for Monmouth Friday and Saturday and then buy the BC sheets to get your analysis?

Upper Nile you left out the Pre-Entries.

You have to buy the same Product a half a dozen times to get the Analysis once if I am reading this correctly.

Or they could just do a Special on the Analysis for those people who bought the Pre-Entries.

\"Everybody got that?\"

JB,

Once again you forget those of us TG customers that are intellectually challenged.

1.Pre entries are $35.00 with no analysis,correct?

2.The seminar for $35.00, contains all 11 BC races with sheets and analysis, correct?

3.Monmouth full card TG sheets for Fri and Sat are $25.00, as usual, but will they contain analysis for the BC races or do you just get the sheets, with no analysis.

The Mth Fri and Sat will contain comments.

The pre-entries should include foreign numbers, we\'ll make an announcement about that when we put them up.

Miff-- let me know what ou think of the first Jersey OTB that just opened up right near Staten Island. We sent Spillane for the opening party last night, but I think they officially start today. We are selling there, trying different combinations of full sets and simulcast books.

JB,
I think I\'ve got it.  Monmouth sheets for both Friday and Saturday will include comments for the BC races.

Do you have any idea when they will be available??  I\'m flying out Thursday morning from the West Coast. Do you think both days will be available by Wed night?? I would think Friday would, not sure about Saturday\'s. Thanks....

All will be clear on the home page in a matter of a couple of hours. Amazingly enough, we already have the whole thing done, including Euro numbers-- I just want to proof everything myself. Once the pre-entries go up for sale, we\'ll post the detailed exlanation on the home page.

They draw everything Tuesday. Barring something going wrong, everything will be up Wed.

JB,

Word is New Jersey Woodbridge OTB is first class( have not gone myself) and a good spot to promote your product assuming you have the ok.Also a further embarrassment to \"sewer like\" NYC OTB parlors.
