Lavender Sky 9/2,Alex Solis in the irons, has to work out a trip from the 10 hole but was Flying home in her last.The opening fractions were very slow in the last and she should have a nice pace to run at in this one. Michael D., The 7th is a Mile on the turf. Day 2 of the meet. Opening day (2) nine furlong turf races. One was won on the front end 3/1, the other came from last 5 wide. I\'ve always liked betting closers at a mile. You also have to like closers that work 34.2,nice blend of speed and stamina. Can Solis get a trip??
