maybe now...just maybe, he\'ll get the respect he deserves. he just was never right last year, but this is a healthy, improving horse. Smartly managed.

Do you think he can run 10 furlongs ?
Robert, two things:
1. he doesn\'t really have to run 10 furnlongs (maybe I don\'t quite understand the ?), &...
2. had Gomez caught him, would we have another \"bad ride\" thread?
After watching the replay, and stepping back from a fan\'s perspective...no, I don\'t think he beats other good horses @ 10 furlongs. I gotta say, I dismissed how important the jockey is for a long time, but lately it seems true that there is a reason they wear small hats...
Theres no reason Flashy Bull can\'t get 10 furlongs at Monmouth. Especially if they slow the six furlong fraction down to 1.14.4, he can sprint home from there and earn a career top to boot.
Poor TAP, apparently he doesn\'t realize multiple lengths wide doesn\'t really play well outside of Belmont Park. But then again, the winner wasn\'t impeded either. Lastly, Pletcher had to ride Garrett Gomez this time. Pretty clear Albarado and Gomez are not separated by much unless one wants to bet that they are.
