Title: The $32 pik 6
Post by: shanahan on May 23, 2007, 06:18:18 AM
3)  spreading out, lots of contenders - 1,2,6,7

4)  first single - 6 - has run, has gd 2YO sire.  If 4 had a 5Fwork, I\'d be all over it.  33% of dam 2YO win.

5)   another single - 3 - Carla Gaines has a gd horse going 1st turf, Knighthood.  the others are all slow, so why not?

6)  1a (headcoach) has been the distance, and 4 dennybuck with Mig/spawr - for me this race is all about these 2 carrying less weight.

7)Idiot Proof for sure (4), but can\'t ignore 2 scat thief on class/last 2 races.

8)  Boldly going singleton again with # 3 - 3 wide in last to get up for 2nd, handled surface well and looks like her old self after being poorly placed in class LY.

they say you can\'t win a pik 6 without at least $200 upfront...they are probably right, but it\'s like being at the ballpark and having 3 beers @ $8 a pop.

That\'s not a bad ticket! Good Luck. $32 is all I\'d spend on this one anyway.

I think I can find something to do with 4 or 5 million... Maybe I could get a deal on Green Monkey?

R3-1,6
R4-2,5,7,10
R5-5
R6-1,4,9,10
R7-1,4,5
R8-2,3

Shanny,
You gave out a cheap P4 on Preakness day that scored nicely for you. If you hit this one........I might just pay you 25 bucks a day!!!  Good Luck.

3 out of 6 ain\'t bad especially considering the ammount put up.  Real nice 4th race selection, hope you played that one on its own.

thanks all for the kind words...before I broke it down to $32 I had the full bet @ $900 - more than a bit steep for me, and I still lost the first (only) leg.  Am I right to think I won $868?  At least I\'ll see the Beatles show at the Mirage tomorrow night...
