Title: Players lose Preakness dead money
Post by: miff on May 13, 2007, 06:35:23 AM
\"Teuflesberg Out of Preakness, Trainer Says
Teuflesberg will not run in the Preakness Stakes (gr. I) May 19, trainer and co-owner Jamie Sanders announced Saturday afternoon\"

Tough break for the players,as the no chance over raced Teufles-rat declines.  All of that dead money will be gone from the pool.

I never like to see scratches, the more entries the more bettor.

This Preakness looked to have too much speed for Der Teufle so I think the connections chose wisely.

He\'s a cut, maybe a cut and half below the top ones, but still think he could earn some nice bucks if they go the State Derby circuit.
