Calvin Borel and Robby Albarado on the two favorites, and the BIGGEST drawback to betting Street Sense or Curlin. Even if you wanted you wanted to replace them who is available??? Pat Day, Gary Stevens or Jerry Bailey are not walking through the jockey room door.
I would bet Borel over Albarado in a big race anyday.
Albarado can ride well day in and day out on the \"B\" circuit, he\'s never ridden well when put up against the big boys. Borel is just stupid enough to ride a good race, even if he didn\'t plan it. He\'s smart enough to ride the rail more often than most.

Any jockey whose last name ends in a vowel is smarter better than Borel.
What we have here is a rail horse and a rail jock who hopefully will get bet like hell by the rail birds.
Albarado needs a horse to be ten lengths the best in order to win a race. He cannot advance a horse in the lane. There is a reason why he rides on the Fair Grounds Circuit during the Winter. I think Borel is an underrated rider on the circuits he rides on. I would too take Borel over Albarado any day. Especially going a 1 1/4 miles, Albarado will need a compass with Curlin to navigate the course.
Prado is the best jockey in the country and he has drawn well with a live horse. Scat was my pick in the BCJ. He\'ll be a square price and poetic justice for Prado would make a great story for racing, who has been milking the Barbaro story for a full year with no end in sight.
I\'d be more worried about the post if Prado weren\'t on board. He\'ll put him in the best spot he can, but 14 is wide.

Care to change your dumb uninformed assessment of Calvin Borel?
Just as soon as I get these damn crow feathers out of my mouth.
