Hopefully they stay on the turf.
In the 10th I believe the favorites are extremely vulnerable. DIXIE DOREE at 15-1 is my play for the day. They put her on the turf july last year and she immediately showed her preference for it with a new top (14)it took her until oct to do it again. She then moved foward to 12.75, 13, and a new top of 12.5 to close her 3yr year. She rested until april and reeled off a pair of 10.25, proceeded to run the 0-3-x, has 31 days off, 8 weeks off the top. Been at Saratoga for a few weeks, drops in class, faces very little. The still developing filly can win it at 15-1.
The 8th is tricky, I have come down top the 3-4-6-9 anyone care to comment on this race?
Thanks and good luck.
If this board contained daily posts like this one, providing logical explanations and sheet reading pointers to 14-1 shots that roll through the stretch and win.
The fact that the horse won only adds to the value obviously (I did not play it), but the horse could have run up the track and it would have been the most interesting post on the board in the last 2 months.
Let\'s see, would I rather have a post like Rich\'s or sophmoric name calling about who makes better figures.
Tough Call.
Congrats Rich and I hope you made a huge score.
Nice hit on Dixie Doree.
excellent call rich ,the faves were vulnerable .
Nice call,Rich. Well said,Mark.
Mark,
I don\'t disagree with what you\'re saying entirely, but nothing is stopping you from posting or engaging in this kind of discussion if this is what you want to do. Lots of people complain about the content here and they don\'t post! I don\'t get it.
Nice call Rich. HP
Agreed HP, but since I am new to \"figures\" and trying to determine their value, it is sometimes hard to weigh in when the discourse on this board gets to such a ridiculous level.
I play successfully without figures but I do believe they could augnment what I do. I will say, it is very difficult to teach yourself how to use them.:))
The arguments are funny sometimes. People are nuts.
TGAB does a great job with the Race of the Week. If you read his comments and look at the sheets you will pick up many of the basics quickly, perhaps quicker than you will through the board. The ROTW archives are great as well.
Good luck. HP
