Any stride analysts out there? It looked like he may have got off his right lead in deep stretch that could have cost him a win or tight photo. I don\'t have super slo mo on the DVR but it looked like he was getting to the winner and a few jumps from the wire he seemed to lose momentum. At first I thought Nobiz found another gear but I\'m not so sure. How\'d you guys see it?? Thanks
Sand,
It was bang bang, I thought he kinda hung very late but he may have moved to the wrong lead.I have not seen the replay but I thought he just tripped out and made a late run against a tiring bunch.

Sandreadis - The Wood was the only race watched today and thought at 1st that \'Nobiz ran a big top , but now I\'m wondering and not sure what i saw ...
I\'m not an expert - specially with stride analysis but if If Sightseeing did what miff is saying , wouldn\'t that be a failure to change leads ?
Marcus, Sightseeing was on his correct right lead from the top of the stretch until drawing within a length or so in very deep stretch. At that point he seemed to lose momentum and his stride got choppy like he could have switched to his left lead.A Bloodhorse article described it that Nobiz \"found another gear\" but with blinkers on I doubt Nobiz ever felt Sightseeing drawing close.It\'s difficult for me to pick up lead changes, that\'s why I was curious how everyone else saw it.
I don\'t think there\'s any doubt the performance of the day came from King of the Roxy. 3-4 wide both turns, finished gamely.
Barry, Did your 2nd place purse pay for this nice looking Ohio Bred?Just curious. Who says you can\'t buy a multiple G2 winning,G1 placed racehorse at the Keeneland sales for 8 grand??
Sightseeing stayed on his correct lead all the way to the wire. From my view, he got a real good closers trip - inside/out - and had dead aim on Nobiz from outside the 1/8-pole. He just didnt finish it off.
I don\'t think I\'d call Nobiz finding \"another gear\"; I\'d go with Miff & say Sightseeing hung at the end...
Did anyone look at the replay of the head on? NBLSB and AGS were both bearing out, AGS quite noticeably. Not sure if TG will note this.
Good luck,
Joe B
i didn\'t see the race or replay but thought perhaps any given saturday\'s funny looking stride that sandreadis and miff described sounded like a possible unclean lead change or an attempt to bore in or out ...
Cornelio never changed hands with the whip...don\'t know why.
AGS had no excuse other than going 3 wide on both turns.
When Phipps horse passed him...he just kept bearing out even more.
No Biz had a dream trip and I would be somewhat surprised if either horse does well in Ky.
This is shaping up as a great betting opportunity come Derby Day...by YUM!
