Title: ROTW

I don\'t think The Rocket will fail to fire. If he goes off at 4-1, I\'m going to bet the farm.

Note to Louie Q. Try not to let the other horses run by you on the turn:-)

Cashed a small place bet and an exacta saver. Bla, bla, bla

Cobalt Blue looked pretty decent. Nice looking animal. He was the only horse that was dry going into the gate. Merv is so annoying.

Street Sense/AGS battle was a classic. Ol\' Calvin might get the roses this time

A question for anyone that pays $25.00 for the Analysis product for any track:

Is it worth it?

I\'ve been evaluating TG products from the ROTW giveaway, and for the last 6 to 8 weeks, the pattern in the Analysis part written by the TG handicapper has been:

* dis the supertrainer horses as bounce candidates, or some such

* suggest another horse, or multiple horses as the \"value play(s)\"

Then, later:

* watch as the supertrainer horse wins once again, and the TG horse clunks up for a minor or runs out

Is that what I will get all the time for $25, or is the Analysis a different animal when you pay for it? TIA.

Rick B. -

The Analysis for the preceding two days is in the Redboard Room every day.  Check it out for the tracks that interest you and make your own decision.  You may not like TG\'s handicapping, but TG\'s business practices are as stand-up as they come.

My own position is that the fun of the game is doing your own handicapping, not relying on picks made by others.

Thats not what the previous poster was saiyng.

TGH analysis is way over priced!!!!   Plain and simple.

Having said that the fact that they leave it in the Red Board for 2 days is very very generous.

The day I looked at the Juvenille race last year and saw Street Sense on top I wanted to vomit but $25 for picks is too expensive as the value is in the sheets but I see that changing about as soon as Gerry takes another job working for Len!!

Boo Hoo! You didn\'t bet the $3 Pletcher horse and you\'re bitching because the $25 TG Analysis didn\'t pick it? I really feel for you.

TG\'s philosophy is all about value. I have observed that the ROTW and the Red Board room  analyzes have a very good ROI over the long run.

A few ROTWs or a few days of red board analysis is not a very large sample size. Look at their analysis or don\'t, but do your own work and make the best value bets. That means finding for example, those occasions when Pletcher, Dutrow,et al are vulnerable and logical overlayed alternatives are playable. See last years BC day for example.
