that you saw such an exhilarating day of racing from a single track?
I\'m talkin Gulfstream.
Was a very good day...could have been a big cash day...with a nose here or there twice cost me big..but still great to watch and bet just the same. And did ok to boot.

DRex/Tony,
That was a very good day? What exactly was good about it?
The cooked racing surface?
Or the ridiculous outcomes that rendered any late-running or non-TAP entrant moot?
(Not to mention Bright One being put down?)
I suppose it could be interpreted as a very good day if you did well at the windows, but I\'m sorry... this was NOT a very good day OF racing or FOR racing.
NC Tony,
Tough beat with Stormello, did the most running of all of them.Fast surface with a good following breeze down the backside.Out of the 8 dirt races 3 wire jobs,3 off the pace and 2 stalkers.
Interesting performances by the 3yr olds.

I was there. My first and last trip to the new Gulfstream unless I can reserve a 10 Palms window table in the future. What a horrid facility.
I\'ve had worse days but can\'t remember the last time I failed to cash a single wager. Pletcher killed me. At one point I was close enough to give him an earful but refrained.
I was even upon Bright One. He broke poorly or might have won the race. He at least would have used up Pletchers horse.
SoCal can I have half of your Scat Daddy future? That one closed, from what I can see. I\'ll be betting against him from here in though.

Kasept,
I have to be honest, I have not followed one day at Gulfstream this meet except via charts or a replay here or there. I always assume a tricked up race track on \"Big Race Day\" anymore. When was the last time we saw a dead or dull surface on any big race day? TAP had a Huge day included a TAP/TAP exacta. At the OTB, I didn\'t see or notice that Bright One went down but with his ouchy running line, I guess that was not totally out of possibility.
The race two nose photo cost me the early P3 plus all of my rolling P3\'s and P4\'s. The Stormello nose photo cost me huge win bet, but cashed on the exacta. So since this was my first day at the races since las Vegas 1/27 it was fun just being there, with many close finishes, Corinthian ran a big one after being double teamed. The feature race had a bang bang ending. Adore the gold ran too good for my liking and he put the run twice on Stormello who would have won otherwise if that one did not run a good 8.5 panels.
I guess it was a matter of perspective. With you being there live, I am sure you saw the nuances that us at OTB\'s couldn\'t. Can you actually see the race live there? I heard from one of the owners of McCanns Mojave the only way he saw his horse during the Sunshine Millions race was on the Jumbotron.

I thought Stormello ran a very good race. He was pressed by a quality sprinter through fast splits and hung tough. They all got a little tired in the last 1/8th chasing that pace. Scat Daddy also ran well even though he was off the action early. He lost some ground and looked beaten on the turn.
nct - nice call on the stormello , imo - that must have been more than a 1 pt top - at least you caught the exacta for your efforts . never saw the win photo or replay but i thought he had it - monster effort , very game ... \'scat was set back by that last big number and i\'d bet this one will have a similar effect . \'nobiz probably bounced - no big deal...
haven\'t studied the chart callers comments on the race yet bit it seemed adore the gold\'s chances were hurt when breaking outward from the gate and wondered as i watched the race that he might have had to work to hard between the 1st 2 points of call ...
